Anna Daedalus is a multi-disciplinary artist working in performance, photography, sculpture and drawing. She and her husband, Leo Daedalus, often collaborate on video work and their ongoing artist book series, Wax Paper Scissors.

The pair recently produced a 60-minute, dual-track video for The Theory of Love, a multimedia lecture-opera composed and directed by John Berendzen of Liminal Performance Group. After premiering in Portland, Love was included in the Northwest New Works Festival at On the Boards in Seattle, June 2007.

Anna’s current projects include photographic allegory and site-specific performance effecting an eco-social reframing of perennial nature/culture concerns in mediaeval and Renaissance painting.

A longtime Northwesterner, Daedalus lives and works in Portland, Oregon. She holds a B.A. in Spanish Literature from Reed College.
